Trout River

This project consisted of replacing the existing steel and wooden bridge with a new 3 span (100m total length) bridge.

The new bridge was to be constructed beside the existing bridge so there was no disruption to traffic. Facca completed the highway realignment and earthwork.

Bridge foundations were tube piles driven to bedrock and filled with reinforced concrete.
Cast in place abutments and pier caps were also completed. Facca erected steel beams with full-width precast deck panels linked together with UHPC from barges and cranes.

This job was finished ahead of schedule.
